Natural Selection

The Barracudas spent hours absorbed in conducting an experiment about natural selection with the mythical Carmel Origami Birds. They tested successive generations of their paper birds as each generation of offspring mutated from the original ancestral bird in wing size. They used math to measure flight distance and wing size, find averages and graph the results of their experiment. Surprisingly one mutation, a very small front wing, resulted in the most successful bird in length of flight.
